A total of 39 pieces make up the new ABRSM 2023 & 2024 syllabus. However, up to 21 pieces remain from the former 2021 & 2022 syllabus. On the other hand, students will surely get inspired by the 9 new exam pieces the Grade 7 piano exam book includes.
Pieces from the new 2023 & 2024 syllabus can be presented from 1 January 2023 until 31 December 2024. After this, ABRSM’s overlap period will still permit candidates to choose from this syllabus until 31 December 2025.
The 2021 & 2022 syllabus is set to expire on 31 December 2022. Nonetheless, ABRSM’s overlap period will allow pupils to present their selection of pieces from this syllabus until 31 December 2023.
At this stage, students should have a solid understanding of music theory certified by a pass in the Grade 5 music theory exam. Is that so? That’s right, ABRSM will not allow candidates to continue studying Grades 6 and higher grades unless passing Grade 5 music theory.
Are you finding yourself wanting to skip Grade 6 to take Grade 7 while having left your theory behind? Don’t stress out, there’s shortcut to ace your theory exam! Our teachers have squeezed the Grade 5 music theory contents into just 5 hours of animated video tutorials. What are you waiting for?
The Academy’s goal is to not only build up their students devotion to music, but also to emphasize the importance of the journey itself. For this reason, we tirelessly work to make the learning experience enjoyable and engaging.
Graduated from London schools such as Trinity Laban Conservatory and the Royal College of Music, our priority is to provide high quality education to the musicians of tomorrow.
We take pride in offering free tutorials on the Grade 7 piano pieces 2023.
Our teachers are currently working on them and they will be gradually published during the summer and autumn 2022.
