BIOGRAPHY
Behind the Scenes: The Life and Beats
Ángela Pagán studied at Villena Professional Conservatoire of Music and Dance with José Fernando Sirera, while completing her training in Ricardo Requejo’s piano seminar.
Afterwards, she was awarded her Bachelor Degree from Bonifacio Gil High Conservatoire of Music in Badajoz, where she was a pupil of Ángel Sanzo.
She has also studied with Nino Kereselidze at Katarina Gurska High Performance School
She holds a Master’s Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma with High Distinction from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. London, under the tutelage of Mikhail Kazakevich and Martino Tirimo.
Moreover, she has attended masterclasses with internationally-renowned pianists such as Josep Colom, Alexander Kandelaki, Luca Chiantore, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Andrew Zolinsky, Jura Margulis, Dina Parakhina. Gabrielle Baldocci, Jerome Rose, Margaret Fingerhut, Mikhail Kazakevich, Elena Riu, Pascal Rogé and others.

Showcasing her wins
Recently awarded First Prize of the International Music Competition “Salzburg and Amsterdam” Grand Prize Virtuoso.
Competition success has seen her claim awards such as first prize in Villa de Caudete Competition of Young Artists. First prize in Villamalea Soloists Competition, second prize in Quintanar del Rey Young Soloists Competition. The Jimmie Cross Prize and The Weingarten Prize for piano.
She has been kindly supported by DKV Seguros Grant, The Henry Wood Fund, The Trinity Laban Hardship Fund and The Alfred Kitchin Scholarship.
PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
On Stage Chronicles: Where the Magic Happens
She studied contemporary music with pianist Manuel Escalante and composer Novel Sámano, performing alongside them in Badajoz’s Contemporary Music Festival.
She premiered works by composers such as Valentín Ruíz, Gustavo Díaz-Jerez and David Isaac Frankel.
Ángela has performed in venues such as the Chapí Theatre in Villena, the Conde Duque Auditorium and Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. The Clemente Hall in Valencia and the Steinway Hall in London, to name but a few.
Ángela enjoys collaborating with other musicians, exploring both chamber and contemporary repertoire.
She has established a four hands piano duo with Mario Ahijado with whom she has performed in several venues and festivals.
